SIPRA ROY

Sipra Roy was born and raised in India.  A teacher for eighteen years, Sipra has a Master’s degree in Sociology and Politics from Calcutta University.  She has been a New Yorker since 2020.  Upon arriving in the U.S., her interest in literature became a journey of creativity – writing, drawing, composing music, acting, and storytelling.  Sipra joined the North Florida Poetry Hub in 2022.  So far away from home, the Hub has become Sipra’s poetry-loving family.
